*We have a first come, first served policy. The first client to request the agreement and place a deposit will be able to secure a date. Given the volume of interest in the barn we generally have multiple clients interested in most weekends throughout the year. Please note we will not hold dates for any reason unless we have received the deposit and signed rental agreement.
BARN IS CLOSED IN THE MONTHS OF JANUARY, FEBRUARY, JULY AND AUGUST
*The barn does have HEAT but DOES NOT have AC. Please be advised in the event of a hot and humid day the barn can become hot!
Events We Host
Casual weddings receptions with or without ceremonies on site. Occasionally we have availability to host large social events, please email for availability.
100 guests (must include small children and all staff in maximum occupancy)
Appointments to view the barn are available Monday, Tuesday, Thursdays and Friday from 11 AM until 5:00 pm. By appointment only.
Rental fee will vary based on the month and day of the week . Rental time allowance is 5 hours for wedding receptions. Additional time may be added if you would like to have your ceremony on site for additional fee.
On-site catering is only available through our family owned and operated catering company .Outside catering companies are not permitted. All food is served buffet style.
BYOB (Beer and Wine Only) or Full Catered Bar Service Available through Rode's Fireside Restaurant (additional fees apply for permit for bar service provided by Rodes)
Guests Of The Barn
If you are a guest of any upcoming wedding at the barn, we urge you to dress in appropriate and comfortable attire and shoes. Flat shoes are highly recommended as the floors are original from the 1940's so so have cracks, etc. The barn does have heat but in the event of an extremely cold and windy day, it can still be a bit chilly so bare legs and arms are not recommended. The barn DOES NOT have air conditioning. In the event of an extremely hot and humid day, dress comfortably as it can be warm.
50% of rental fee (non refundable, no exceptions)

Chairs (standard black folding chairs) other rental options available for additional cost
Portable restrooms- Full bathrooms- one men's one women's- Heated with running water. Not port-a-pottys!!
You are free to decorate the barn as you'd like. All decor is subject to approval. Some options, including the use of hay, glitter and confetti are not permitted. Additional cleaning fee may be apply if non-approved decor is used. If desired, Rode's will provide clean up of personally owned decor for additional fee. All set up and break down is required of all weddings on the day of only. Please let us know all of your decorating ideas.
This is strictly prohibited in Rode's Barn. Smoking is permitted in designated areas outside of barn only.
